Thanks for looking at my photos.
The child's denim jacket is for my best friend's son, due to arrive from Korea this summer.
It is the Dragon Jacket from Mason-Dixon Knitting and uses my first Noro Kureyon plus random bits of Caron from my stash.
New (awkward) stuff for me: intarsia, felting, embroidering on knitting.
Ugh! A few glaring errors- uneven dragon panel, blatant color change under dragon, 7 stitches of purl ridges in my stockinette
on dragon panel, weird looking tail spikes, funny-looking wing, red Caron and reds Kureyon clash. I'm relying on the fact
that my best friend loves color and is a very sweet person. At a distance, I hope these errors will be less obvious. In my
defense, I could not find a SINGLE other dragon jacket online and I had to change the colors because the book one was too
girly.
The adult cardigan uses Reynolds Lopi, Berella Polar, LB Homespun, Crystal Palace Sparkle Plenty and LB Fun Fur. Believe
it or not, even those mostly "cheesy" brands really made a dent. It's not really uneven at the bottom; it just looked
that way because I didn't smooth it. It was for my mom's birthday a few years ago. Eek- she's my mom, so she gushed over it
and even wore it once, as I recall.
The bottom one is an earlier version, on me (I am a bit smaller than Mom). Believe it or not, Mom actually preferred MORE
Fun Fur.
